Jeep Gladiator Lifted: Everything You Need to Know
The Jeep Gladiator is one of the hottest pickup trucks on the market. It’s an upgrade of the best-selling Jeep Wrangler but with some key differences, such as a full bed instead of the enclosed passenger area, longer frame and more towing capacity. In many ways, this is the Jeep many drivers have been asking for. It’s not quite as rugged as the Jeep Rubicon, but it’s more of a hauler than the Jeep Wrangler, thus offering the best of both worlds.
When the Jeep Gladiator hit the market in the second quarter of 2019, it was quickly lauded for its sleek design and extended wheelbase, so drivers feel like they’re behind the wheel of a pickup rather than an SUV. That’s why we’re so excited to announce the release of the new Jeep Gladiator lift kit and leveling kit. Both kits will help you make the most of your new Jeep Gladiator, giving you more room for larger, off-road tires. Say hello to the lifted Jeep Gladiator.
Leveling Kit for Jeep Gladiator
We’re happy to say that the 2.5-inch Jeep Gladiator JT leveling kit is available now, so if you’re anxious to level out your Gladiator, you’re in luck. It comes with our signature Lift Force Warranty Program and Limited Lifetime Warranty, so you don’t have to worry about violating the OEM warranty.
The leveling kit for the Jeep Gladiator gives you room for 35-inch tires, and for the Rubicon, 37-inch tires. The kit comes with lower coil spring spacers to adjust the ride height, built-in compression bump stops to keep your new tires from rubbing against the fender and extended sway bar links for better handling.
With this kit, you’ll have a more level, factory-style stance, which is perfect if your model is starting to settle either in the front or back or you’re looking to add a winch or trailer hook-up. You’ll also have room for larger, more aggressive tires, so you can tear through the mud and snow like a pro.
Lift Kit for Jeep Gladiator
We’re also happy to announce that the Jeep Gladiator JT lift kit is coming in mid-February, so if you’re looking for a solid all-around 4-inch lift, stay tuned for more info.
One of the main differences between the JT lift kit and the JL lift kit is the replacement front track bar. Replacing the front track bar keeps the vehicle geometry aligned. When raising the suspension, it’s important to upgrade the track bar to keep the axles centered. Your truck won’t be as wobbly and there’s less of a chance of your truck leaning too much to one side.
Another important difference is that the Jeep Gladiator lift kit replaces the upper sway bar links, while the Jeep Wrangler lift kit replaces the lower links. Sway bars keep your vehicle stable on and off the road. It also makes it easier to turn, so your truck doesn’t lean too much to one side. The sway bar link connects the bars to the vehicle suspension system. The upper two links prevent the axle from rotating, so the pinion angle stays as constant as possible. The lower two links keep the axle in place from front to back. We replaced the upper sway bar links on the Jeep Gladiator lift kit to keep the pinion angle stable. We replaced the lower links on the Jeep Wrangler lift kit to keep the axle in place.
With thicker, all-terrain or mud-terrain 37-inch tires, you can take your new Jeep off road without batting an eye. With these kits, your Jeep will handle better in all kinds of terrain, including mud, snow and sand. Both kits are compatible with the Jeep Rubicon as well if you ever feel like upgrading to the toughest Jeep on the road.
As with all our Jeep lift kits, you should be able to install the Jeep Gladiator lift kit and leveling kits on your own. They’re no more complicated than the other kits on our website. It may take you the better part of the afternoon or the whole day, but when you’re done, you’ll have a beautifully lifted Gladiator that’s sure to be the king of the road.
Stay tuned for more updates as we get ready to release the 4-inch Jeep Gladiator lift kit. We’re just as excited as you are.
