As of July, 2019, your purchase of a Superlift Suspension lift or leveling kit (Superlift Kit) comes with a free LIFT FORCE Supplemental Limited Powertrain Warranty (LIFT FORCE WARRANTY) protecting you from disputes with original equipment manufacturers (OEM) who are unfamiliar with aftermarket suspension features. The LIFT FORCE WARRANTY does not replace your vehicle’s factory OEM warranty or any limited lifetime warranty on Superlift Kits. The LIFT FORCE WARRANTY would go into effect if and when the OEM or OEM’s dealership (Dealership) denies your drivetrain warranty claim due to installation of your Superlift Kit. Your exclusive warrantor for the LIFT FORCE WARRANTY is Superlift, LLC doing business as Superlift Suspension Systems (Superlift), 300 Huey Lenard Loop, West Monroe, LA 71292. The LIFT FORCE WARRANTY is available to the initial retail purchaser of a Superlift Kit.

 

Subject to terms, conditions, definitions, exclusions, and limitations herein, Superlift warrants to the initial retail purchaser of a Superlift Kit that, during the Term (defined below) of the LIFT FORCE Warranty, Superlift shall repair or replace Covered Components (defined below) in the event of Failure (defined below). Superlift’s repair or replacement obligation is conditioned upon the following: (a) the Failure occurs during the Term hereof, (b) while the Covered Components were covered by the OEM’s powertrain warranty and (c) the OEM or OEM’s Dealership denies coverage on the Covered Components because a Superlift Kit was installed on the vehicle.

Coverage of this program is further expressly conditioned upon all of the following:

  • Installation of Superlift Kit occurred on or after July, 2019.
  • Superlift Kit was installed in accordance with recommended Superlift written installation instructions and recommendations as to tire and wheel sizes.
  • Superlift Kit installed was recommended for that vehicle’s make and model.
  • Superlift Kit was installed on a vehicle first sold, registered and used in United States or Canada.
  • The vehicle was maintained per OEM service recommendations and the Superlift Kit was maintained in accordance with recommendations applicable to the owner’s use.

“COVERED COMPONENTS” include:

  • ENGINE: All internally lubricated parts, oil pumps, timing belt, chain, water pump, manifolds, harmonics balancer, engine mounts, turbocharger housing, internal part and vanes. Notes: Cases, housings, engine block and cylinder heads are only covered if damaged by the failure of an internal lubricated part.
  • AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION/TRANSFER CASE: All internally lubricated parts, torque convertor, vacuum modulator.
  • MANUAL TRANSMISSION/TRANSFER CASE: All internally lubricated parts. Does not include items such as pressure plate, clutch, throw-out bearing, pilot bearing or bushing, clutch master, and slave cylinders or bellhousing.
  • FRONT DRIVELINE: All internally lubricated parts, drive shafts, axle shafts, carrier bearings, u-joints, constant velocity joints, and front hub bearings
  • REAR DRIVELINE: All internally lubricated parts, drive shafts, axle shafts, and wheel bearings, carrier bearings, and u-joints.

The “TERM”
The Term of the LIFT FORCE WARRANTY shall extend from the installation of a Superlift Kit, until the earlier of: (1) expiration of the OEM drivetrain warranty covering the vehicle, (2) the vehicle reaches 60,000 miles on its odometer, or (3) five years from the date of purchase of the vehicle. Note: the Term may be shorter in some cases than the OEM drivetrain warranty.

The Term shall not be modified by any third party extended warranty or other agreement. Superlift reserves the right to modify any term herein including canceling the LIFT FORCE WARRANTY by notice posted on the Superlift website https://superlift.com provided such modification/cancellation shall not affect claims submitted in writing as of the date of notice.

How much does the Superlift’s LIFT FORCE Supplemental Limited Powertrain Warranty cost?

The cost to you is zero, the new LIFT FORCE Supplemental Limited Powertrain Warranty is free of charge when you purchase a Superlift Suspension Leveling or Lift kit.  Your vehicle must still be covered by the OE vehicle’s warranties including the OE powertrain.

How long do I have after the installation is completed to register for the LIFT FORCE? 

After completed installation you have 90 days to submit the Supplemental Limited Powertrain Warranty registration.

 

Will adding additional accessories to the truck that has Superlift Suspension void my warranty?

No, As long as your qualifying Superlift Suspension lift or level kit has not been altered, adding other non-suspension accessories will not affect your Supplemental Limited Powertrain Warranty.

 

What is the length/Term of the coverage of the supplemental warranty?

The Term of this Supplemental Limited Powertrain Warranty shall extend from the date sixty days (60) after installation of a Superlift Suspension System Qualifying Lift or Leveling kit meeting the conditions stated above, until the earlier of: (1.) expiration of the original OEM drive train limited warranty covering the vehicle, (2.) 60,000 miles from date of new vehicle purchase or lease, (3.) five (5) years from the original in-service date of the vehicle upon which the Superlift Suspension System Qualifying Lift or Leveling kit is originally installed, as measured by the date recorded by the vehicle OEM.

 

Is the Supplemental Limited Powertrain Warranty transferable if vehicle is sold to different owner?

No, the Supplemental Limited Powertrain Warranty is non-transferable with the sale of the vehicle from the original purchaser.

 

How does LIFT FORCE’s Supplemental Limited Powertrain Warranty coverage apply to my vehicle?

The supplemental limited powertrain warranty provides coverage of Covered Components listed within the “Covered Components”.  Any Covered Components are only covered under the Term of the supplemental warranty. 

 

Am I still qualified if I purchased a suspension kit and installed it myself on the vehicle?

Yes if the suspension kit was installed in accordance to the Superlift written installation instructions along with the recommended tire and wheel size. The vehicle must be maintained per OEM service recommendations and the Superlift Kit must be maintained in accordance with Superlift’s written installation instructions.

SUBMISSION OF CLAIMS

• Any claim for a Failure or for a breach of the LIFT FORCE WARRANTY must be made directly to Superlift within three (3) months after the alleged Failure or breach regardless of the party’s knowledge of the existence of the alleged breach. Not providing Superlift written notice of a claim or action within the three (3) month period shall constitute a full, complete and irrevocable waiver of the right to bring any claim or suit against Superlift related to this LIFT FORCE WARRANTY.
• Customer must provide acceptable documented proof that the Failure of the Covered Components occurred during the Term
• Customer must provide acceptable documented proof that the vehicle and Superlift Kit were maintained in accordance with the conditions stated herein.
• It is solely the responsibility of the original retail purchaser of the Superlift Kit to file a claim should a need arise.
• All claims must be presented to Superlift before any repairs are to take place on the vehicle. Superlift must be given the opportunity to evaluate the claim and make arrangements with a facility of their choosing in order to have the vehicle inspected and evaluated.
• Superlift will not pay for repairs that are not authorized by Superlift.
• Once a claim is received by Superlift, a representative will contact the owner of the vehicle within 24-48 hours on weekdays and/or following weekends or holidays. During this contact, the owner making the claim must be prepared to supply detailed information, all necessary documents, and images of the vehicle so that the representative can evaluate how to proceed with help. The owner may, at Superlift’s sole discretion, be instructed on where to take the vehicle for inspection.
• Claims are limited to the maximum amount stated herein.
• Superlift liability under the LIFT FORCE WARRANTY does not extend to loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use (or loss of profits resulting there from), towing, travel, substitute vehicle rental expense, injury to property or persons, or any other special, indirect, consequential or incidental damages whatsoever. Some states and provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply. Any provision of the LIFT FORCE WARRANTY which is prohibited or not enforceable in any jurisdiction shall be, as to such jurisdiction, ineffective to the extent of such prohibition or non-enforceability without invalidating the remaining provisions hereof, and any such prohibition or non-enforceability in any jurisdiction shall not invalidate or render non-enforceable any such provision in any other jurisdiction.

Exclusions
In addition to other exclusions stated herein, the following are the basis for exclusion under your LIFT FORCE WARRANTY at Superlift’s sole discretion:

• Any damage to your vehicle or property owned by others outside the Covered Components described herein;
• Progressive wear or loss of performance of vehicle or any vehicle component. Emission Control Systems; Electronic stability Control Components
• Failure, damage, or wear to Covered Components which, upon Superlift inspection/investigation are in Superlift’s sole opinion a result of : (a.) lack of required maintenance or routine service per OEM or Superlift instructions or recommendations, (b.) fleet, rental or commercial use, (c.) defects or use which pre-dates installation of Superlift Kit,(d.) customer’s use of components not supplied by Superlift or partial Kit installations (e.) customer’s choice of vehicle configuration contrary to Superlift recommendations, warnings or applicable laws
• Misuse, modification, mis-installation, alteration or addition of suspension components not part of a Superlift Kit, accident, neglect, negligence, vandalism, fire, riot, war, road conditions, racing, jumping, operation without proper lubrication or coolant, excessive oil consumption, acts of god
• Vehicles on which the odometer has been tampered with or the reading altered
• Repair or replacement of the Superlift Kit and its components (separate coverage may be available under Superlift’s Limited Lifetime Warranty). https://superlift.com/limited-warranty registration
• Superlift reserves the right to reject any application for vehicles with pre-existing damage, salvage, repurchased or other conditional title certifications and/or vehicles and aftermarket builds subject to Exclusions (see below).

 

LIMITS OF DAMAGES, CONSEQUENTIAL & OTHER DAMAGES DISCLAIMED; CLAIMS REQUIRED WITHIN 3 MONTHS OF FAILURE

Vehicle Limits of Liability: the maximum liability hereunder shall be the lesser of: (1) Superlift’s obtained written estimates for repair or replacement of Covered Component Failure(s), (2) the NADA provided wholesale value of the vehicle at the time of Failure or (3) a maximum of $5,000 per vehicle. At the option of Superlift, replacement of any part may be made with new OEM parts or aftermarket parts of like kind and quality at time of Failure. Notwithstanding item (3), Superlift’s payment of the vehicle limits of liability hereunder shall operate as an expiration of the Term. Superlift’s payment hereunder shall further operate to assign to Superlift all customers’ rights to seek reimbursement from third parties, including other warrantors and insurers. Customer agrees to provide Superlift reasonable cooperation in collecting any such reimbursements.
Your Rights Under State Law
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, THE REPAIR/REPLACEMENT AND OTHER REMEDIES SET FORTH ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL, WRITTEN, STATUTORY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SUPERLIFT DISCLAIMS ALL STATUTORY AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUD-ING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES AGAINST HIDDEN OR LATENT DEFECTS, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. IN SO FAR AS SUCH WARRANTIES CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED, SUPERLIFT WILL LIMIT THE DURATION AND REMEDIES
OF ANY SUCH WARRANTIES TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY AND THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS SUPPLEMENTAL LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. NO PERSON IS AUTHORIZED BY SUPERLIFT LLC TO ALTER, ENLARGE OR EXTEND WARRANTIES OR TO ALTER OR AMEND DISCLAIMERS.

Applicable Law
This LIFT FORCE WARRANTY shall be constructed, interpreted, and enforced in accordance within the laws of the state of Michigan. Any action or proceeding brought by Superlift, LLC or the Customer against each other arising out of related to this warranty shall be brought solely in a Michigan court of competent jurisdiction, located in Washtenaw County, Michigan and Superlift, LLC and customer hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts or purposes of any such action or processing.
Attorney’s Fees
If any action is brought to enforce the terms of this such warranty, the prevailing party in such action shall be entitled to recover its cost and reasonable attorney’s fees incurred in such action, whether or not suit is prosecuted to final judgment.
Definition of Terms:
FAILURE: Failure is defined as an event that renders the vehicle inoperable or compromises the vehicle’s operation due to
a defect or failure of a Covered Component which would ordinarily be covered by the OEM drivetrain warranty. Failure is subject to all exclusions herein.
